The artistic and cultural events held on the grounds of Casa GGG (Gustos Gathering Grounds) are managed by "Back Yard Productions."
The mission of Gustos Gathering Grounds is to create an environment where people can gather to share and express our common humanity in an uplifting, fun, and creative manner.
Lisa Tyson and Laurie Sandefer are the producers of "Backyard Productions." They work with a team of professional associates from diverse fields such as performance art, music, theater, cultural studies, and the visual arts to create and implement artistic and culturally-related events and courses in the various venues located at Gustos Gathering Grounds located in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Along with producing events for Gustos Gathering Grounds, "Backyard Productions" orchetstrates events for other groups and organizations.

More about Lisa and Laurie...
Lisa has been a musician, actor, and dancer for most of her life. She has performed in a multitude of venues over the past 25 years. Lisa also creates funky, one-of-a-kind clothing items under the label of P. Tyson. In her previous life, Lisa attended law school at the University of Texas in Austin, and practiced corporate law in Dallas, Texas for 15 years. In her "spare" time, Lisa writes special projects for U.S. based corporations as well as articles for various publications.

Laurie holds a Ph.D. in Aesthetics from the University of Texas at Dallas. Along with creating works of art in various mediums, Laurie teaches a variety of classes which intertwine cultural identity theory with the creation of works of art.
